Group50 manufacturing & distribution consultants have significant operating backgrounds in many functional areas and industries. Meet some of our team:
Heads up Group50’s Manufacturing practice. He has over 35 years of experience in multiple industries and international locations, with over 20 years of Lean Enterprise implementation experience in global situations, for both business process and supply chain optimization. Major projects he has led include managing an enterprise wide cost improvement program of over 100 worldwide projects, established, organized and led two major integration and rationalization projects for the corporation, has led the planning and implementation teams for two greenfield factories outside of the US and has lead multiple PMO’s. David directed a $24M multi-site technology, supply chain, and manufacturing transfer and integration program. This involved re-location and integration of a $100M Malaysian and a $170M U.S. facility manufacturing volume to facilities in Mexico and China, which was completed on schedule. His career is complimented by a BSME from Carnegie Institute of Technology and a MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.
He is a manufacturing expert in the world of consumer electronics and industrial applications. Pat has more than 3 decades of hands on manufacturing and system design experience. He has worked building production tooling and automation in many Semiconductor FABS around the globe. In 2001 Mr Conarro sold off his semiconductor robotics company to (BRKS: NASDAQ) after its products became the calibration and system qualification standard in the semiconductor industry. He has been published in Micro magazine for his efforts in robotic calibrations and methodology. Pat has been designing products and manufacturing processes since the days of cardboard ticker tapes. His skills are broad in nature bringing a wealth of tribal knowledge to any technology based project. He has expertise in robotics, CNC machining, automation and project managing large and complex projects. He holds an associates of tool design from Penn States’ School of Technology.
He supports Group50’s manufacturing and distribution and Global Initiatives practices. He has expertise in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, plant layout and design as well as process engineering. He is especially adept at training and building lean expertise on the shop floor. Albert is fluent in Spanish and English and has a working knowledge of French and German.
Jorge Silva is the Global Initiatives Practice Lead for Group50® Consulting. He has over 25 years of global experience in companies ranging from start-ups to Fortune 100 in multiple industries. He brings a unique view of how the globalization of business is best done, measured, and improved. Jorge is a multi-national sales, marketing and business development expert whose core competency is designing and executing creative growth strategies. He is fluent in Spanish and English and has lived and worked in the US, Spain, Singapore and the Philippines. He has led successful business development activities throughout SE Asia, the Middle East, Europe and Latin America. For the past decade, Jorge has been a management consultant helping launch, manage, operate and guide multinational companies. Additionally, Jorge is passionate about teaching, mentoring, and leading university students to become valuable members of the global village. His professional background is complemented by a BS in Industrial and Systems Engineering as well as an MBA.
