Alfredo Romero

Alfredo is a sales and marketing professional with over 20 years of leadership experience in B2B & B2C organizations with focus on branding, product management, and strategic planning. He has applied his experience in market effectiveness, product development, global business and sales strategy in both small privately held businesses as well as companies with well-known international brands. Alfredo is a problem solver and well versed in the application of analytical skills and creativity to understand and provide solutions to client challenges. Before receiving his MBA from The UCLA Anderson School, Alfredo studied economics at Pomona College in Claremont where he is currently on the Alumni Association Board.

David O’Connor

Heads up Group50’s Manufacturing practice. He has over 35 years of experience in multiple industries and international locations, with over 20 years of Lean Enterprise implementation experience in global situations, for both business process and supply chain optimization. Major projects he has led include managing an enterprise wide cost improvement program of over 100 worldwide projects, established, organized and led two major integration and rationalization projects for the corporation, has led the planning and implementation teams for two greenfield factories outside of the US and has lead multiple PMO’s. David directed a $24M multi-site technology, supply chain, and manufacturing transfer and integration program. This involved re-location and integration of a $100M Malaysian and a $170M U.S. facility manufacturing volume to facilities in Mexico and China, which was completed on schedule. His career is complimented by a BSME from Carnegie Institute of Technology and a MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.

Jane E Tierney CPSM, CPSD, MBA, Green Belt

specializes in finding waste and risk that leak dollars from the supply chain and drain the bottom line. She is a supply chain and purchasing subject matter expert who is well versed in lean business systems. After earning a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Missouri Jane obtained her MBA from San Diego State. She honed her supply chain skills in well known companies like Hewlett-Packard, Agilent, ITT, Quantum and HAAS Automation. Passionate about Lean & Six Sigma, she holds green belt certification from the University of Michigan and earned Certified Professional supply Manager (CPSM) and Certified Professional in Supplier Diversity (CPSD) accreditation from the Institute of Supply Management, and is a certified instructor for both programs. She is an adjunct professor teaching Operations Management and Supply Chain Strategies at California State University Northridge and serves on the advisory board for California State Long Beach’s Operations and Supply Chain Management program. She co-founded the So-Cal SCRM Council focused on Supply Chain Risk Management. A sought-after speaker, she writes articles and offers
workshops on a variety of supply chain topics.

Vincent “Vinnie” Polito

Group50’s Healthcare Practice leader has over thirty years of experience as an executive and executive consultant in the design and delivery of Lean, Lean Transformation and Operational Excellence in the Healthcare, Medical Device, Industrial Manufacturing, Aerospace, Textile and Oil and Gas industries.  He has held senior management roles in operations, materials, quality, and business development.

Vinnie has pioneered Lean in Healthcare. At the forefront of Lean in Healthcare since 2003, he has provided guidance to over 100 hospitals, physician/specialty practices, insurance health plans and home health systems in North America. He has a grasp and appreciation of the mission and complexity of Healthcare. He translates Lean principles and techniques into effective delivery strategies and execution specifically meeting the critical needs and culture of Healthcare. Some of his more notable Healthcare clients include, Thedacare, Denver Health, Beth Israel Deaconess, Barnes Jewish, New York Health and Hospitals, and Priority Health. His Lean support of Healthcare has included initiatives for non-clinical organizations including the Institute of Medicine (IOM), the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) and National Quality Forum (NQF).

Vinnie has led and executed Lean transformation in a diverse range of industries such with a client list of Fortune 500 organizations including Boeing, Alcoa, Lockheed Martin, Rockwell-Collins, Duracell, Owens-Corning, Sandia Labs and Hanes Brands. 

 

Andrew Goldsmith

With over 20 years of corporate, start-up and management consulting experience, Andrew Goldsmith is a business-to-business marketing and strategic planning professional with deep experience helping companies enter new markets, launch new products and build powerful brands. He is a recognized leader in the field of marketing analytics and data visualization, and has been quoted in Bloomberg News, the Washington Post, CBS News and the Lou Dobbs show. During his career, Andrew worked for PWC, OSI Systems, Appnet and Global Telecom and Technology. As a Principal Consultant for PWC and Appnet, Andrew led marketing strategy engagements for Monsanto, AT&T, British Telecom, Morgan Stanley, Lucent, and Verizon. In his most recent corporate role, Andrew was Vice President of Global Marketing for Rapiscan Systems, Inc., a $400M security technology provider, where over a period of seven years, he and his team helped the company achieve an average annual growth rate of over 15%.
